The bottom hoop has been repaired with a plate made from a cymbal scrap added.
The drum came to us without parts for the strainer -- what you see has been fabricated as close as we could get with the parts we have available and is now fully functional.
The wall of the shell shows some flexing at a few of the lug points likely from high tension over the years.
