Starting with the bass drum - Likely this drum started off as a school marching drum, explaining the two marching harness holes on the bottom of the drum and the unique color scheme.

We're assuming the school or organization that owned the drum wanted to put together a kit with the bass drum and had ludwig make the toms about 8 years later. The duco finishes are identical even though they are almost a decade difference in age. This is likely when the spurs and rail mount were added to the drum.

At some point along the way modern spurs were added leaving 8 extra holes on the bass drum.

Overall the kit is in good condition, edges are decent, and all hardware functions. The duco finish has a bit of wear to it but is pretty consistent and intact to the shell.

The toms are both maple/poplar/maple with maple re rings and the bass drum is maple/poplar/mahogany with maple re rings.
