Constantinople Stamp 2
14 7/8" actual size
Both cymbals display deep, complex hammering throughout. Small, high bell cup. Golden-brown patina with a scattered verdigris spots.
Don't scoff at the grams. These have a responsiveness you won't find in comparable weight modern hi-hats. Robust attack balanced out by a dark, warm pitch. Articulate sticking and chick with an otherwise soft character. Heavy but highly musical. Not "rock hats". These hats were demoed with the heavier cymbal on top, as it has an enlarged hole for modern clutches, suggesting the past own preferred this setup.
1343g hat: Original small bell hole diameter with slight keyholing. Faint fleabites around, but mostly light wear present to touch.
1406 hat: Shows more prominent edge wear, coarse spots and fleabites around. Center hole has been reamed out for modern clutch fit.
