Drum was originally a 10x14 tom and was cut down by drum builder Jerry Garcia, into a 5x14 snare drum. About 2.5 inches were cut off on either side of shell, new edges cut, original re-rings were re-installed and a throw off, butt plate and internal muffler were added.
