1960/70s A. Zildjian 15" Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair
Top Hat: 1960s A. Zildjian New Beat 972g. 6 rivets installed. Small crack has been carved out on edge and smooth. No new cracks or keyholing and edges are smooth around. Clean condition. Very little patina and aging.
Bottom Hat: 1970s A. Zildjian 1460g. Hollow Block ink stamp on bottom. Edges smooth around. A little wear in bell hole.Clean condition. A few spots of faint green patina.
That New Beat sound with a subtle addition of sizzle. Focused stick attack. Clear chick, without the sizzle lingering over. Sizzle speaks nicely in the half open position without being overbearing. Comes across as a classic set of New Beats with a little extra pizzazz.
